October 3, 2012 - We are excited to announce to that 3DMark 11 and 3DMark Vantage are now available to download and buy from Steam. Our benchmarks are headline titles in Steam's new Software category that launches today.

3DMark benchmarks use specifically designed tests featuring advanced real-time graphics to accurately measure the performance of PC gaming hardware. Running 3DMark regularly, and especially before and after making changes to your computer, can help highlight problems with your set-up. Comparing scores with similar systems can help you judge the value of upgrading components such as the video card in your PC.

3DMark 11 is a gaming benchmark test for DirectX 11 video cards and is compatible with Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Vista. 3DMark 11 on Steam includes additional presets for testing entry level and extreme hardware, custom settings, looping mode for burn-in and stability testing, and unlimited online results storage. 3DMark Vantage is a gaming benchmark test for DirectX 10 graphics cards and is compatible with Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Vista. 3DMark Vantage on Steam includes extra presets for entry level and extreme hardware, custom settings, six additional feature tests, and unlimited results storage. The free Basic Edition is available by clicking on the Download Demo button on the Steam store page.
