Futuremark® Announces Patch for PCMark04
Application Based Benchmark Provides Comprehensive PC Performance Measurement; Patch Fixes Bugs, Detects Latest CPUs and Display Cards
Saratoga, California May 5, 2004 Futuremark® Corporation announced today the immediate availability of a software patch to its popular PCMark04 benchmark software. PCMark04 is a state-of-the-art benchmarking tool and has been widely adopted; over 2 million copies have been distributed since launched in November 2003.
Available immediately, this free downloadable software patch fixes all reported and reproduced bugs and adds detection for all the latest CPUs and video display cards. The patch will not affect the benchmark score.
PCMark04 builds on Futuremarks strong benchmark development experience and provides a sophisticated tool for measuring PC performance for home usage. PCMark04 supports the complete benchmarking cycle allowing you to benchmark your PC, view the results, compare your results to those of others and analyze how to improve your PCs performance. The software produces highly reliable and detailed results with a simple, intuitive user interface. Advanced Online Result Browser allows instant results comparison against more than 10 million benchmark results in Futuremarks ever increasing performance database.
Technical Details associated with the PCMark04 Patch (Build 1.2.0):
- No change in scores between the old and the current version;
- Updated System Info: detects new and additional CPUs and Graphic Display Cards;
- Fixes Grammar Check Test on AMD Athlon64 FX-53 processors;
