SPMark for WinMobile and SPMark for Linux Compare and Evaluate the Latest Modern Windows Mobile and Linux Based Smartphones
Espoo, Finland April 22, 2008 Futuremark Corporation, the industry leading provider of system performance analysis software and services for embedded devices and PCs, announces the general availability of SPMark for Windows Mobile and SPMark for Linux benchmarks.
SPMark is the most comprehensive benchmarking suite for modern smartphones as it benchmarks all relevant mobile OS environments such as Windows Mobile, Linux, and earlier announced products for Symbian and Mobile Java. Futuremark benchmarks enable a user to professionally and objectively evaluate system performance across various smartphones, OS environments and workloads. SPMark benchmarking suite gives an easy-to-understand SPMark system score which is fully comparable with that of other phones and between different Operating Systems. SPMark for WinMobile and Linux is available immediately and includes 3D gaming and theoretical tests for 3D performance evaluation, system tests for WinMobile and Linux applications (e.g. calendar and contacts database) and customizable test runs which include a battery test option.
